Job Description

VitaminT has partnered with a client in the Galleria area that is looking for a Graphic Designer with a focus on video/ videography focus. This is a temp-perm (contract-hire) position, and the candidate will need to work on-site. This position is a full-time (40hrs/ week) opportunity. 

As a graphic designer, you are passionate about design, typography and visual branding. You know the latest design trends and technologies and can easily rattle off your favorite tools, sources of inspiration and go-to blogs. Creating smart, approachable designs that aim to connect is what you do best. Reporting to the Manager of Digital & Creative Services, you will work alongside a team of thoughtful communicators to help grow the company’s visual storytelling presence and act as a strategic partner with internal stakeholders. Your goal is to think outsideof-the box and develop fresh, creative solutions that move communications and the company brand forward.


  • Support all aspects of brand application, graphic design, desktop publishing and printing needs for company. Clients include but are not limited to company’s executive management; Public Affairs & Communications, HR (including Community Partnerships), Investor Relations, HSSE, and IT departments; as well as the company’s regions.
  • Conceptualize, design and produce reports (Sustainability and Annual Reports), books, brochures, banners, digital signage, editorial layouts, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, eNewsletters, posters, flyers, templates, social media graphics, internet and intranet graphics, stationery, signage, apparel, and other branded products.
  • Work with team videographer and 3rd party vendors on motion and animation graphics
  • Provide print-ready art files to external printers and oversee the production of print material when necessary on projects.
  • Serve as a member of the crisis communications response team.
  • Support other corporate communications initiatives as directed.
  • Self-manage a wide variety of projects, deadlines, and internal clients.

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications or related field
  •  3+ years of professional graphic design experience in a corporate and/or agency environment
  • Extensive knowledge of digital design, including responsive design, websites, email and social media
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop; Lightroom and After Effects a plus) and Microsoft Office
  • Passion and skill for visual storytelling
  • Thorough understanding of typeface and imagery use
  • Excellent eye for photography; photography and/or video skills a plus
  • Ability to use team and internal client feedback to adjust creative look and feel
