Job Description

The Digital Account Manager will own/manage partner relationships for an industry-leading consumer research company and will and project manage their technology implementations. You are part project manager and part account manager, working with newly established supply partnerships. You will be responsible for managing daily operations to drive partnerships forward, becoming an expert in a suite of sensory testing API integrations and optimization processes. You will be able to work remotely a few days each week after the initial onboarding process.

You Need To:

  • Be adept at media planning, negotiating, managing, and implementation across a variety of digital tactics
  • Be proactive and have sharp critical thinking skills — you must have the ability to visualize a project in terms of “next steps” and ask relevant questions
  • Be fearless with follow-up and be able to gracefully and proactively push vendors and partners regarding any unresolved issues or unanswered questions
  • Be able to multi-task, prioritize projects, communicate at all levels and work within multiple deadlines in a calm and efficient manner — know how to anticipate issues and manage risks
  • Have a desire to be involved in additional 'start up' initiatives, such as, marketing initiatives, managing design partners, managing a proprietary panel, etc.
  • Appreciate owning responsibilities (rather than tasks) and have pride in your work 

Required Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of account management in B2C digital media advertising and experience within Market Research/Digital Marketing
  • Experience with affiliate partnership management in online advertising, digital marketing, or similar industry 
  • Sourcing management skills and analytics background
  • Data-driven mindset and accompanying analytical skill-set

Preferred Experience:

  • Solid knowledge of, and experience with, consumer insight/marketing platforms including experience implementing programmatic platforms and partners 
  • Background in sample/supply management 
  • Experience working with retail and/or CPG brands, ideally in the shopper marketing space
  • Working knowledge of CRMs and Basecamp
  • Experience with SaaS software implementations and SaaS Workbench Software (RESTful APIs, Mashery, Domo)
  • Background or understanding of qualitative market research principles
  • Optimization in digital marketing


  • Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with partners from on-boarding implementation through a strategic, entrenched and successful partnership
  • Provide day-to-day partnership management for new and existing supply partners
  • Manage and evolve supply partner relationships and recruiting channels who engage with the panel via programmatic sampling technologies (APIs and web transfer integrations)
  • Gain a deep understanding of each supply partner’s platform implementation process, including all relevant technical details, to monitor performance, recommend solutions, and optimize partnership for both parties
  • Monitor the recruitment progress of consumer research respondents to align with KPIs; responsible for finding workable solutions to difficult recruiting situations, and for communicating these situations/solutions to internal and external teams and partners
