Job Description

We have an AGENCY client that is looking for a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of digital and print production. A key production team member with a wide range of responsibilities. This role will take on designs during the final stages of development to ensure accuracy and prepare them for print and/or digital executions. You will combine strong creative and technical skills to format various production jobs including agency presentations. You will be responsible for following standards put in place by the Production Director and adhering to the agencies quality of work expectations. This is a temporary contract position with the possibility of leading to full time position. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Build and finalize designs using the appropriate software while ensuring job accuracy 
  • Suggest and apply image and layout improvements 
  • Follow set production standards and ensure deadlines are met 
  • Stay within budget on all work and raise awareness if you think you might go over 
  • Assist with minor retouching as needed 
  • Knowledge of current production and graphic design trends, retouching techniques, software, and prepress requirements 
  • Provide creative and new business support as needed 
  • Ability to work on several jobs at a time with little supervision 
  • When needed, liaise with key team members to define job requirements 
  • Requires a flexible schedule. Work hours and days may be dependent on workload and business needs. Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime as needed. 


  • Ideally 3+ years as a production artist 
  • Should have an eye for design. Design background and experience a plus. 
  • Experience building files from approved comps ensuring layouts are built to correct specs for print and digital work (including brochures, ads, billboards, flyers, OOH, posters, banners, wide-format, digital banners, web skins and infographics) 
  • Photography and retouching experience preferred but not required 
  • GWD experience preferred but not required 
  • Experience proofing, pre-flighting and preparing press ready files 
  • Expert in Adobe software products, primarily Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator 
  • Basic Office skills using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Keynote applications 
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment 
  • Must have exemplary attention to detail and solid communication skills
