We have a client that is in need of a Social Media Specialist full-time, on-going freelance with one of the biggest brands in San Diego! The main function of this role will be to execute and assist in strategy with the Social Media Director. You will need to have 1-3 years experience in helping develop social media campaigns in addition to working on day-to-day strategies. Must have used different tools for campaigns and analytics such as : Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr, and GIPHY. In addition, you also must be a strong writer/content strategist. Please have examples to showcase.
Qualifications include two or more years of experience writing content for web and social media sites, preferably in marketing, public relations, or similar field. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, research and interviewing skills, and proofreading skills. Must have the ability to adapt voice and style of writing to fit a variety of projects and represent the organization. Must be able to work effectively with others in a variable team environment and also work individually with minimal supervision. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Must have experience participating in and writing for a wide variety of social networks and online communities, and experience in representing a brand/company/organization through social media is preferred. Must be proficient in both PC and Mac platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management platforms.
