Mid-Weight Copywriter & Social Media Exec

Our client are a leading logistics and transportation company that work closely with some of the world’s largest hauling companies. Our client have set up a unique model by which utilising vehicles already on the road, partnering owners of vehicles with people who require vehicles for a single use. Their clients range from anything such as a man with a van to international haulage companies.
Our client are looking for a talented Writer with a good knowledge and background working in social media and marketing. Day to day will involve working with other members of the team and producing a variety of communication material, from blogs and social media posts to email and marketing comms. You will be responsible for the growth of social channels including LinkedIn and Facebook, amplifying reach and using your copywriting skills to engage potential customers. Writing duties will vary, from producing original social content and marketing materials, contributing to blogs and also condensing down articles to a piece more digestible for today’s on-the-go consumers.
As well as working on external materials, there will also be occasions when you will be required to contribute to more internal documents, such as training materials, website content and other pieces. As someone with a passion for words and well-written copy, you will also be detail oriented and able to proof/edit both your own and the work of others.
Skills & Experience
This role will suit someone from a writing background that has a good knowledge of managing social media accounts and encouraging growth. This is a fantastic role for someone who wants to push and grow their skills and develop their craft, ideally suiting someone for an internal marketing team where they would have been exposed to a similar working environment. That’s not to say someone from a more creative or agency background won’t be up to the job.
