My client, a large through the line agency are looking for Copywriter, you can come from a marketing or PR background, with experience writing long copy and for the new business department. You will work with some amazing brands from health to FMCG to banking and broadcasting.

The writer role is crucial to the business development effort, creating stand-out credentials and tender documents that ensure capabilities are presented in the best way possible in the written word. This role demands organisation, energy and polish.

You will be part of a tight-knit, central business development team, often working on multiple projects. I am seeking a self- starting individual who can work under the pressure of short deadlines and who is all over the detail. 

The role will report into the Head of Business Development and work closely with the new business leads and subject matter experts across the group. 

 Draft high-quality credentials and tenders to a defined brief, determining the clearest and most logical way to present information for the needs of the user and writing and editing 
technical information accordingly. 
 Liaise with subject matter experts to ensure that specialised topics are appropriately addressed and presented in a way that is jargon free and easy to understand. 
 Work with our dedicated design team to commission illustrations and diagrams to elaborate on/complement technical writing. 
 Act as brand guardian, understanding and proactively applying our values, style and tone of voice to all written work. 
 Proofread, scrutinise and edit own work and the work of others. 
 Catalogue material, managing a central library of case studies, business information, thought leadership and frequently asked questions. 

Ideal candidate: 
 Educated to degree level or equivalent. 
 Excellent writing skills. 
 Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable. 
 Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to forge strong working relationships. 
 Self-starter with the ability to manage own workload. 
 Proficient at MS Word and PowerPoint.
