The presentation specialist is a member of the Marketing Production team and is responsible for the production and maintenance of the firm’s approved presentations library along with customizing slide content for specific prospect and client review meetings. The candidate must have the ability to balance efficiency and creativity within a corporate brand and a fast-paced environment.
Maintains brand standards and consistency of message and design across presentation materials
Takes direction from various teams to improve and develop slides
Formats numerical data, charts, text, photographs, and other visual graphic elements
Pulls master slides from an internal, web-based content management system
Reviews work for accuracy of typing, layout, consistency, and format
Develops a mastery of using all company PowerPoint templates
Routes iterations to the client and successfully addresses client feedback
Routes marketing collateral through Legal and Compliance for approvals and makes necessary revisions
Displays exceptional customer service skills and helps foster an environment of teamwork
Works on multiple assignments with competing deadlines
Maintains version control through the tracking of drafts as they progress to a final version
Works with various Marketing teams and internal clients to: ensure proper prioritization, meet all established deadlines, and proactively resolve issues
Keeps up-to-date records for each project in workflow database
Ensures files are properly archived
Adheres to established file naming conventionsQualifications
Expert in print production software [Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word); Adobe Creative Suite; Adobe Acrobat]
Ability to translate and simplify complex data through information graphics, charts, and graphs
Excellent oral, presentation, and communications skills and a professional client service mind-set
Must be highly organized and results oriented
Must be process-driven, but flexible
Demonstrated ability to take initiative
Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills, especially in situations involving consensus and team building, with strong problem-solving skills
Experience working in a marketing or creative environment
Basic knowledge of front-end web languages (HTML/CSS) preferred
Background in the financial services industry preferred
Bachelor’s in communications, marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred
Entry level to 5 years of experience.
