Job Description

The Marketing Traffic Coordinator will work alongside the Project Managers in facilitating all daily and major tasks/projects within the team. The Traffic Coordinator will be responsible for staying attuned with all initiatives (across all channels) and assisting in the flow of all communication from concept, to design to approval to launch, with the primary objective of increasing the flow of creative output.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in managing the team’s project management tool environments
  • Facilitate and control all daily and major projects
  • Analyze project requests and establish project priority
  • Communicate project expectations, timing and status to applicable requestors
  • Partner with team leads to monitor/manage work queues
  • Develop and implement communication flow and project transition improvements with Project Managers
  • Assist design team with acquiring assets for projects
  • Assist with QA testing and validation of graphic design and web projects prior to production/deployment
  • Cultivate team collaboration among graphic designers, front- and back-end developers, editors & copywriters and photographers
  • Facilitates meetings and reviews, distributing notes to team members and project stakeholders identifying next steps and timing
  • Understanding and application of print production processes, methodologies and tools
  • Responsible for on time delivery through directing the work of others that do not directly report to this position.

 

Ideal Candidate

  • 2-3 years of related experience in project management, marketing, agency, or operations.
  • Some experience managing print projects through production and mailing/distribution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in project management software, Jira a plus
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • “Can do attitude” to do what needs to be done to meet client’s sometimes quick timeframes.
  • Ability to think quickly and make courageous decisions based on facts and prior experiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
