Job Description

Vitamin T is seeking a Content Strategist for a global client in Northbrook.  This is a temp-to-hire role, onsite with the Corporate Marketing team.  As the Content Strategist, you will be responsible for collaborating with Business Marketers across the global organization, helping them achieve thier objective in a smart strategic way.  A Strategist with an SEO background, who can manage content in a holistic way,for web, mobile and social.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Leading web strategy, overseeing creation of an intuitive, engaging brand-compliant web experience
  • Building, deploying and managing a web and content workflow and governance model.
  • Driving best-in-class website experience and work with web development, analytics and design teams to ensure the site functions properly and is optimized for search.
  • Working with creative, web development, SEO, demand, social media, content owners and other teams to deliver an aligned multi-channel online experience.
  • Collaborating with other experts to produce wireframes and prototypes aligned with UL’s brand positioning.
  • Working with analytics team to ensure accurate process is in place.
  • Monitoring success metrics and progress; analyzing reports and making web strategy recommendations based on site trends and performance/success metrics.
  • Collaborating with web development team in maintaining site health and in managing content within CMS including optimizing for adaptive/responsive design and continually working towards improving the site user experience.
  • Be the expert knowledge resource for content owners needing help in creating and managing web content.

Qualifications:  

  • Strategic thinker focused on using our corporate web presence to achieve business and brand goals.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating them in identifying and implementing solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience with helping content owners understand how they can achieve their objectives in a manner aligned with brand goals and web governance.
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, site assessment, and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively when discussing issues with team members and other web contributors.
  • Strong knowledge of the technical aspects of the web and its capabilities.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple work streams.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • 8 Years or more of related experience or demonstrated competency.
