Our client is seeking a Sr. Front-End Designer/Developer to join their team in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have a skill set that includes front-end design, HTML5, CSS, SAAS, LESS, knowledge of HTML template language like liquid, expertise in VS Code, version control GIT, Bit bucket etc. This position does not require knowledge of backend or server side coding. The right candidate should be proficient and confident to start working on new and existing projects mainly on HTML template language like liquid. Work with content creation teams and back end engineers to plan, design, develop, test and maintain enterprise-class websites and native mobile apps on the health system’s ASP.NET Core platform.
Collaborate with the digital team to create new headless, decoupled architecture for the efficient creation, management and publication of static content and supporting processes.
Collaborate with the digital team to dynamically create and maintain semantic pages using schema.org tags and JSON-LD.
Passion for creating best in-class experiences, grounded in web standards (W3C) and the latest technology and processes
Actively manage and evolve the health system’s digital design system, including library patterns and style guides. Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure design and style consistency and coding uniformity.
Create, manage and evolve the seamless data integration and presentation of 3rdparty data via APIs (Google Maps, Site Search, Eventbrite, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Cloudinary, iCIMS, Content Distribution Networks, etc.)
7+ years of front end design/development experience (work portfolio)
Exceptional design skills including composition, layout, color, responsive images (Photoshop) and typography
Integrating dynamic data into page design (API’s, JSON, XML).
Manage, promote and test code using code management tools (Github, TFS, JIRA, etc.)
Develop mobile interfaces (iOS, Android) that feature “open table” like convenience and personalized experiences
