Job Description

Well-known, growing client is looking for a Creative Content Specialist to join their team. This is a full-time, direct-hire position that includes a great salary, benefits package and perks for their employees. 

This Creative Content Specialist should be intelligent, resourceful and dynamic; a creative individual who sees first-hand the positive difference that their team and company’s work make in the lives of hundreds of thousands of people around the world. 

This Creative Content Specialist will be a key player on a team that takes initiative and intelligently adds value to projects, outcomes and stakeholders worldwide. After long nights and long hours, must still manage to have an authentically grounded personality and be able to connect and communicate easily and enthusiastically with all people; teammates, clients and all stakeholders alike.

·     Can travel 20-30% of the year

·     Stays engaged through 50-60 hours of work per week (some weeks more, some less)

·     Can handle a lot of last minute, urgent requests for research, prep and materials

·     Can handle a lot of changes in directions and is extremely flexible (may spend a lot of time working on something and then have the direction or priority of the project change)

·     Is able to secure, manage & appropriate resources to get things done

·     Is able to create strong relationships with internal departments, vendors, contractors and key people from other organizations

·     Is able to manage budgets & office systems

·     Has a strong ability to solve problems creatively and practically

·     Is truly spontaneous; we need someone that can think and act on the spot



·     College degree (4-year Bachelor of Arts or Science) in the humanities; (ideally English, journalism, marketing, business or communications) 

·     3-5 years of post-college work experience in a similar field 

·     Experience writing/editing 

·     Experience researching/fact verification

·     Experience with project management

·     Previous experience working with InDesign, Adobe, etc. is a BIG plus, though, not required

·     Strong knowledge of the Apple OSX and software, especially software like Keynote is a plus

·     Previous experience with Content Development is also ideal
