Job Description

We’re working exclusively with a disruptive start up client of ours who are revolutionising the way you pay your bills; they’re hardworking, dynamic and fun & they’re looking for a passionate Marketing Manager who wants to get involved in a rapidly growing business.

This is a permanent role with salary up to £50k per annum based in central London

Your key measurements for success will be based on the level of increase in community memberships, as well as maximising engagement from their existing members.

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager;

    ●Creating a marketing message which resonates with target audiences

    ●Implementing a marketing strategy across various media channels to drive acquisition and create word of mouth virally

    ●Developing and managing online marketing channels

    ●ROI focused to drive cost effective user acquisition; Implementing growth hacking techniques to cost effectively drive user acquisition

    ●Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of marketing activity by channel and draw actionable insights from google analytics

    ●Using Mixpanel to automate marketing and communication to drive new user conversion and community & retailer engagement

    ●Creating content and copywriting across marketing channels to brand guidelines

    ●Implementing A/B testing techniques to improve acquisition and conversion


You’ll need to be;

    ●A self starter with a strong sense of ownership, and a can-do attitude

    ●Excellent creative thinker with great ideas – a good ‘marketing brain’

    ●Fast learner who isn’t afraid to get things wrong.

    ●A good writer, you’ll need to write copy to engage with their wide audience.


Experience using tools such as;

    ●Design - Sketch, Photoshop

    ●Ad software - Facebook ads manager, Google AdWords

    ●Email marketing - Mailchimp, Mixpanel

    ●PPC / SEO - SEMrush, AdWords, Tag Manager,

    ●Collaboration - Google suite, Trello, Slack

    ●Attribution software - Branch or others

    ●Automation and Engagement - Mixpanel



    ●Experience working in a retail / app technology company

    ●4 - 5 years marketing / digital marketing experience

    ● Hold digital marketing qualification
