Job Description

As Front-end Developer, you will join the marketing team whose mission is to own and manage the brand b2b and b2c websites, will act as the liaison between IT and account partner websites to ensure APIs are running smooth and coordinating efforts in the event that technical incidents occur.  You will also act as the liaison between the brand website and the back-end booking engine in the event technical incidents occur internally as well. You have about 5 years of experience in the digital universe and web site development. You are proficient in tracking tools, best practice landing pages, website merchandising, website customer journey with an eye toward conversion (ie: book a tour online and/or call the contact center. You are familiar with Digital UX and have working knowledge of the following web development languages: PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML5 and responsive site design. You are highly proficient using the following tools: CMS, Drupal, Word Press, Google Analytics, Photoshop, code editor tools, bug tracking software. You are someone that has the experience to provide informed input and solutions, adapt to various constraints should they occur while trying to meet company needs by finding the best compromise or solutions. You are data driven and obsessed with making sure website is functioning and converting properly by looking on a daily basis at analytics, heat maps, onsite content and other testing initiatives to drive revenue and maintain the store presence.  You have exceptional communication skills and will alert the appropriate team members specific to any potential website barriers to bookings.

Responsibilities 

  • Owner of all website (b2b&b2c) functionality, landing pages, content, onsite SEO and merchandising across all territories
  • Creating, updating and making changes to web pages for new products, sales campaigns and all content specific to website per the release schedule and marketing calendar.
  • Responsible to troubleshoot the site in areas of content, links, and registration flow
  • Implementation of all 3rd party platform tools such as Bounce Exchange, Feefo Reviews, Mix Panel, Crazy Egg, Olapic and other marketing web tools that help website conversion.
  • Owns the design, copy, proofing and development of web landing pages.
  • Performing continuous technology watch to ensure the health of the website
  • Monitor and fix broken links (404 & 301 corrections & maintenance)
  • Reporting: Responsible for delivering weekly, monthly, quarterly reports as directed by the Director of Marketing specific but not limited to google analytics marketing metrics. 
  • Coordinates enhancements with Business Systems team for Drupal, Softrip, WordPress
  • SEO onsite management, quarterly audits and strategy updates to grow organic traffic
  • QA of all websites and active landing pages on a regular basis
  • Works with IT to ensure website performance
  • Experience setting up and analyzing website A/B tests
  • Stay up to date on the web's latest technologies and make sure the site is always mobile-friendly and multi-platform ready
  • Assists in troubleshooting potential API issues 

Skill Set

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS and Java Script
  • 2+ years working with WordPress, Drupal and Acquia/Drupal platform. Drupal experience is a MUST.
  • Experience with content A/B testing
  • Familiarity with JIRA or other bug tracking tools.
  • Prior experience working in graphic and/or web design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign is a MUST.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, UTM codes and Google Tag Manager set up, tracking and analysis for all is a MUST. 
  • Familiar with SEO content tools (Screaming Frog, Moz or SEMRush), best practice SEO onsite tagging, metadata, etc.
