Job Description

Our client is looking for a freelance Associate Creative Project Manager for a 6+ month engagement. This person is responsible for managing the day-to-day flow for a robust SEO content strategy and our always-on social content. This person would be responsible for building the pipeline of work with the channel owners and then seeing through execution with the creative team, partnering with compliance to ensure that all content is approved. 

This position reports to the Director of Creative Operations. This person would need to work in the Presidio offices for the length of the engagement. 

  • Onsite in the Presidio 
  • Duration of assignment: 6 months with potential to convert 
  • # of Hours Per Week: 40 hours

  • Work with operations director, ECD and SEO and social channel owners to develop and maintain sustainable project pipelines and methods 
  • Cultivate an understanding of general compliance regulations in order to benefit production marketing managers and creative team 
  • Manage project cadence in order to deliver projects on schedule 
  • Receive project requests and make assignment recommendations per project type and specific brand/channel projects 
  • Maintain project status within project management software. 
  • Manage projects from request through to delivery, including scheduling and attending creative reviews 
  • Works closely with all team members in order to forecast resourcing needs 
  • Oversee daily project flow, ensuring all partners are informed and part of process 
  • Maintain a level of brand stewardship 
  • Track schedule for all projects; adjust schedules and maintain channel members’ expectations as necessary 
  • Communicate with and coordinate resources as needed 
  • Manage asset organization and archiving 

Qualifications, Skills And Experience 

  • 3+ years experience project managing multiple asset types in an advertising agency and/or in-house marketing department 
  • Highly organized, analytical problem solver 
  • Proven tech and software savvy (picks up new software skills quickly) 
  • Ability to work quickly and decisively 
  • Strong service orientation and interpersonal skills 
  • Skilled in asset management software 
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, Wrike (and other project management tools) are pluses 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
