Job Description

Vitamin T has partnered with a client that is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join their marketing communications team. This individual will help manage content strategy across all channels – email, online, print and social. This person will be the “voice” and will be responsible for maintaining key messaging. This role requires exceptional writing skills, experience in defining strategies, marketing, social media and online content marketing, a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and excellent project management skills. Insurance experience is a plus.


  • Develop comprehensive content strategy for multiple audiences 
  • Develop strategies to engage members, prospects and new audiences across multiple social channels 
  • Responsible for content across all websites (corporate website, landing pages, portals, etc.), requiring collaboration with appropriate individuals and teams to maintain and update regularly. 
  • Collaborate to ensure web content is optimized for organic search rankings and to increase conversions.
  • Manage the strategy and delivery of efforts to members, manage messaging, including contributing ideas for content, researching and drafting stories and advisory pieces and preparing and distributing member alerts.
  • Maintain and enforce engaging and cohesive brand messaging and guidelines. 
  • Author, proofread and edit various communications including announcements and thought leadership pieces. 


  • 3+ years developing content for an established organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field.
  • Highly creative with exceptional writing and proofreading skills (writing samples required) and the ability to simplify concepts and tailor messaging for specific audiences across multiple channels.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Campaign and Dreamweaver (or other HTML tool).
  • Proficiency with social media marketing
  • Experience with project management and marketing
  • Agile learner who can quickly absorb information and apply it to current business situations.
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity and establish trust and credibility.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently with sound decision-making abilities
