Job Description


Our client is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting marketing projects such as trade shows/training events, sales/training presentations, literature and promotional item fulfilment, and other internal and external marketing efforts. This position will also provide support for internal and external communications while adhering to company policies, consistency in messaging, and coordination of efforts in alignment with the various Halco Lighting Technologies brands. 

Essential Functions 

--Provide support for various trade shows and training events. Assist in writing, editing and reviewing marketing collateral copy. 
--Research, gather data, manage and track internal project information, such as New Product Introductions, Product Campaigns, Trade Shows. 
--Provide support for special events for Halco and our channel partners. 
--Participate in departmental and marketing team initiatives. 
-Coordinate award submittals. 
--Work together with various key personnel to write, edit and produce training materials. 
--Research and track competitor marketing activities. 
--Assist in the maintenance of website. 
--Manage various internal and external contact lists for use in email, lead generation, surveys, etc. 
--Manage marketing literature fulfillment & inventory with outside vendor. 

Minimum Requirements 

--Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business required with minimum 2 years of Marketing or Technical Writing experience. 
--Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook). 
--Proficiency creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. 
--Experience coordinating professional tradeshows, and meetings or events. 
--Excellent grammar skills and proficiency in proofreading a must. 

Preferred Experience 

--Ability to collaborate and work independently and drive to be a positive team member. 
--Very strong writing, editing and communication skills. 
--Ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential. 
--Working knowledge of SEO, keywords and Google Analytics helpful. 
--Knowledge of website back-end functions helpful. 
--Working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop a plus.
