Marketing Project Manager

This role will support the marketing team with all project organization and coordination for our CMO. This is an excellent opportunity to be in a rapidly growing company. This position plans, organizes and controls each project to ensure alignment with the client’s specifications and timelines as well as the company’s budget. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity.


  • Leads project development for key strategic initiatives across marketing communications
  • Accountable for the execution, management and quality control of campaigns, publications, and multiple concurrent projects from concept to completion, ensuring all project goals and brand requirements are met
  • Proactively communicates with project owners about production recommendations, risks, challenges, and solutions
  • Drives collaboration and execution across groups
  • Assisting in the launches of emails, Marketo programs etc. * Fluent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (i.e. pivot tables)
  • Manages assigned projects to ensure that site content is current and accurate, acting both as an individual contributor and by leading or directing the work of other functional staff
  • Systematically manages time and development schedules though implemented processes.
  • Exercises independent judgement and creatively addressing issues and ambiguous situations as they arise
  • Employs a proactive approach toward project management, identifying needs that campaign owners may not recognize, ensuring that approaches and solutions are linked to goals, brand guidelines, and future needs
  • Serves as a main interface on projects, clarifying strategic requirements, explains complex ideas clearly, and manages expectations
  • Clearly defines scope, roles, responsibilities and expectations at the onset of each project. Identify and escalate any scheduling issues, including rush projects, missed deadlines, etc.
  • Leads regular project status meetings; creates agendas and follow-up notes.
  • Identifies bottlenecks and obstacles within projects; makes proactive recommendations for improvements and holds all parties involved equally accountable.
  • Maintains regular contact with staff in own and other departments with the purpose of coordinating schedules and tasks, ensuring that work products meet time, budget, and performance goals.


Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of project management or applicable experience in an agency or brand in-house marketing organization.
  • Knowledge of project management processes, workflow and terminology.
  • PMP or PHR certification a strong plus.
  • Five to seven years of Project Manager Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Project
  • Ability to set priorities, manage workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong results orientation with a proven track record of flawless execution and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized, efficient and experienced in leading multiple projects, with attention to detail
