Our client is looking for a Communications Marketing Manager to join their team. This role includes the strategic thought process and planning behind integrated marketing campaigns that feature digital components like social media, PPC, and email marketing along with more traditional advertising like signage, outreach and events. This role is an exciting opportunity to function like a start-up under the umbrella of a large national company - building branding and traffic campaigns where you can see the direct effects of your efforts. You will work closely with other Regional Marketing Managers along with Marketing and Executive leadership and our internal design teams to create exhilarating and innovative marketing.
" Conduct competitive and local research to ensure a thorough understanding of each accounts market and audience
" Perform marketing analysis resulting in a recommended media schedule/buy
" Regularly analyze traffic, lead and occupancy reports and take appropriate action to maintain optimal marketing efforts. This includes monthly reporting on property activities and marketing efforts
" Conduct bi-weekly calls/meetings with key leadership in each market to review marketing efforts, challenges, etc.
" Twice a year, provide marketing leadership with an analysis of each accounts performance, including recommendations for media additions or removals and approximate ROI for each source
" Create initial/kick-off marketing plans for your accounts
" Develop thoughtful integrated marketing campaigns that weave together the unique attributes of each property and their demographic with strategic efforts in digital advertising. This would include but is not limited to:
o Pay per click/Retargeting
o Geo-targeting and location-based advertising
o Social media, both organic and paid
o Email marketing
o Print advertising as needed
" Write thoughtful design requests to fully encompass the strategy behind your campaigns while keeping company standards, guidelines and best practices in consideration
" Ensure both company and property branding is reflected in all outbound marketing
" Make sure the property website is kept fresh, including photo updates, design updates and content updates to optimize for search engines
" Expand marketing efforts into innovative and new technologies like video, virtual reality, augmented reality and voice search - push the envelope!
" Travel to markets and properties needing assistance, particularly for kickoff meetings - and keep documentation on findings during visit
" Conduct trainings and presentation to ensure on-site associates understand marketing goals, tools and services
" Lead and assist with special projects as assigned
" Analytical - you love looking at data and analyzing it to make sure you're putting the optimal marketing out to our customers
" Creative - you are a creative thinker who uses strategy to fuel your out-of-this-world ideas and can work collaboratively with design teams to produce stunning deliverables!
" A way with words - you excel at writing, whether it be creative or business writing. From taglines to copy to email, you are ready to conquer! You also have an eye for proofing.
" Digital - you are a digital thinker and are familiar with the current marketing landscape. Digital is second nature to you!
" At least 5-8 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
" Experience with the following software preferred:
o Microsoft Office Suite
o Adobe Creative Suite preferred
o Social Networks - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest
o Wordpress and/or other content management systems
o Google Analytics
o Email marketing software (MailChimp, Constant Contact or the like)
" Strong writing and proofing skills
" Experience developing and analyzing metrics
" Knowledge of the property management or multifamily industry preferred
