Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Paid Media Marketing Manager who will be accountable for paid social media and display strategy, day-to-day management of client campaigns, and identifying the best mix of digital media channels to deliver an advertising message to a client’s target audience. This person will be responsible for the overall portfolio performance, will aid in the integration of paid search data into other services across the account team, and will utilize research data to determine the most effective way to give clients’ products or services maximum exposure. 

Paid Search Responsibilities: 

  • Day-to-day optimization and monitoring of assigned accounts, with a specialized focus on direct response and performance 
  • Ongoing recommendations for campaign growth, enhancement, and innovations 
  • Responsible for implementing client PPC strategy and identifying tactics necessary for the proper management of campaigns 
  • Assists in managing client relationships by balancing their day-to-day needs and their long-term objectives 
  • Compilation of performance results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis with analysis for client presentations 
  • Analyzing and researching the target audience's character, purchasing and media habits, and using that research to develop a media strategy 
  • Remaining on top of the search industry 
  • Collaborating with other departments within the company 
  • Establishing priorities and providing detailed goals, expectations and performance standards 
  • Relates important decisions and actions to the big picture 

Display Responsibilities: 

  • Analyzing and researching the target audience's character, purchasing and media habits, and using that research to develop a media strategy 
  • Planning and buying 
  • Create media strategy deck for clients to be reviewed by client lead and presented to client 
  • Place media plan in a format presentable to client 
  • Will also be responsible for maintaining the creative library and setting up campaigns and pixels in the adserver. 
  • Communicate specific creative requirements necessary for the campaign 
  • Optimization and Analysis 
  • Develop quarterly plans for display clients to ensure we continue to be innovative in the space and open the client up to new features and opportunities 
  • Monitor performance of publishers across all display clients 
  • Monitor overall spend and display service performance across all display clients 
  • Remain on top of the display industry, and adserver technology and offerings 
  • Manage media logistics & 3rd party vendor partnerships 


Client Description:

Digital Marketing Agency


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related filed 
  • 2+ years’ experience in paid search management and/or display advertising and/or media buying in the digital space 
  • Acute attention to detail 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong Excel skills, particularly in the use of formulas and vlookups 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to sort through data and find solutions to challenges 
  • Self-starter who is able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment 
  • Extensive knowledge of Adwords, AdCenter, Bing/Yahoo! 
  • Previous agency experience a plus 
  • Relevant industry certifications a plus 
  • Experience utilizing DoubleClick tools a plus
