Job Description

A beauty industry darling in growth mode is searching for a Director of Brand Marketing. The ideal candidate is a great leader and collaborator; capable of inspiring, rallying, getting the best work out of people. 


  • Work at the concept level and help lead brainstorms and provide creative ideas for 360 campaigns.
  • Launch/manage the campaigns, playing both strategic and executional role.
  • Work cross-functionally to understand ecommerce, retail and international business plans.
  • Extremely knowledgeable about email, social media, influencers, digital landscape.
  • Not creating everyone’s individual plans. Taking all the strategies and needs and turning it into a cohesive plan. Negotiating with the team members and synthesizing it. On budget, on time, and realistic, in terms of getting it executed. Responsible for reworking everything if there is a shift in plans.
  • Communication of executive feedback; aligning with executive stakeholders to ensure feedback is communicated to team and that any changes are visible / scaled across the team.
  • Partner with PM to ensure creative deliverables are on-brief and on time.
  • Strong executional management of outside partners (brand partners, vendors, retailers, etc.).
  • Manage budget with strong attention to detail.


  • Previous experience with campaign planning and execution
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of related experience in the Beauty, Retail or Agency preferred
  • Can come from an agency but ideally a brand that is doing break through things.
  • Experience launching buzzworthy campaigns with strong social media components
  • Knowledge about the influencer + experiential space
