Job Description

Our client, a leading disruptive Cloud computing company, seeks a training Project Manager who can execute on new and existing training deliverables. The training Project Manager will interface with both stakeholders and internal team members, such as Instructional Designers and Developers, to ensure effective delivery on our proposed solutions and programs through effective timeline and resource management. The Training Operations team serves several internal stakeholder groups (R&D, Service Operations, Service Engineering, and Customer Support), providing training consultation, designing and developing technical training solutions, among other key training functions.

Responsibilities of this position: 

  • Lead multiple work streams and/or global project teams to execute against project plans
  • Demonstrate strong ability to engage directly with stakeholders on strategy/key summaries and be able to work at tactical level within working teams
  • Display effective organization skills and manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and drive creation of integrated project plans and timelines
  • Propose solutions to manage stakeholder expectations and manage project scope
  • Drive adherence to project, portfolio, and operational processes
  • Lead regular meetings and track project progress using team's project management tools
  • Report on and present to stakeholders on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Communicate availability of learning deliverables/programs, promoting key benefits and completions
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products to ensure the highest quality deliverables within approved timelines
  • Integrate and synthesize technical and substantive information from multiple teams in order to analyze complex issues, mitigate risks and solve problems
  • Monitor results of project

Skills: Basic qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project/program management experience
  • Experience leading departmental and enterprise-wide learning projects and facilitating meetings with stakeholders
  • Strong organization, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • Demonstrated experience in instructional design, curriculum design, and/or measures of learning effectiveness
  • Strong working knowledge of adult learning theory
  • Experience working in a technical training environment
