Job Description

Our client in Boston MA is looking for a Creative Sales Executive! This is a permanent opportunity for a full-time position onsite. You will be joining a global organization that is increasing their footprint across the USA with a focus on the Greater Boston area. We're not just seeking anyone for this amazing opportunity - it has to be the right overall fit as it is a mutual investment. You spend majority of your time at "work" & we're seeking someone who is passionate about the industry, connected & respected in the community and of course integrity. Don't get me wrong sales is definitely in the job description, so being a hunter uncovering relevant business opportunities is key but you also have to have a consultative approach & be skilled at value-based selling. You have an existing book of business but seeking an overall opportunity to really take your career to the next level! You're lacking upward mobility, autonomy, challenge in your current role but the passion for the industry and what you do is there! 

The ideal candidate will be an effective collaborator and motivator who can lead the company to success. You know the importance of having a healthy "book of business" with a combination of target accounts that have a longer sales cycle & those that do not. You've got experience in selling marketing communications solutions in the Boston area. While your focus is growing Boston, you will also have the ability to have expanded territory of focus in your path. In this role you will have an annual revenue goal to achieve so it offers a base salary AND bonus! 

Key Responsibilites:

  • New business growth; Input on and execute growth strategies to increase revenue 
  • Increase brand awareness in the community 
  • Proposals preparation; Impactful presentation skills (in person & virtually)
  • Stay current on market trends and new research; Know the competition
  • Achieve revenue targets 

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field required
  • 4+ years experience in a marketing agency environment
  • Experience Microsoft Suite and various marketing softwares (Dynamics, Excel, CRM)
  • Proven new business development experience within in agency environment 
  • Strategic, innovative and creative personality with a strong business acumen
  • Strong attention to detail; effective communication skills
  • Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate tasks
