Job Description

We're looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator with graphic design and tradeshow experience for one of our clients in Arlington! Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and have experience organizing trade shows and/or events.

This position requires previous experience in the building construction/materials industry!

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Location: must sit onsite in Arlington 
  • Duration: 90 day temp-to-hire through Vitamin T 
  • Requirements: background and drug screen required prior to start date



Client Description:

This person will be responsible for creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate the target audience. You will develop the overall layout and production design for packaging, advertisements, brochures, web pages, invitations and much more! You will be expected to become an expert within our client's industry and gain an understanding of industry norms and trends to produce the most effective and persuasive work possible. In this role, you will also be responsible for designing, organizing and communicating on all events handled by the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create images that identify a product or convey a message. Develop concepts, graphics and visual images for brochures, product illustrations, logos, social media, websites, etc.
  • Maintain Brand Compliancy on all artwork
  • Prepare and maintain a library of digital creative assets in support of sales, marketing, and business development efforts. Manage and organize media assets through clear/concise information architecture
  • Packaging designs and printing preparations of files
  • Vendor Management (Online store, printing, etc.)
  • Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and the material is printed to the highest quality. Prepare all documents correctly for their next step i.e. Printers requirements, Packaging requirements, sample requirements. Understanding the printing process and specifications are a must.
  • Tradeshow/Event Organization, logistics, and communication. Support Building Science, Sales and Training teams for materials and samples needed for training classes and regional events.
  • Responsible for updating existing presentations, collateral, web pages, marketing emails, and video/flash to tailor to the various customer audiences i.e. Architects, Builders, Contractors, and Homeowners.
  • Maintain and organize inventory of marketing supplies.
  • Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time

  • Strong project management and ability to handle multiple projects, groups and their initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with production and rendering methods, including drawing, offset printing, photography, interactive media
  • A bachelor’s degree in design or other related positions is preferred for the production artist position. Significant coursework in graphic design, print production, visual arts or a related field, along with an outstanding portfolio and experience that demonstrates clear knowledge of print production and design may be considered.
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), PowerPoint, Excel and Social Media
  • Experience with organizing trade shows and/or events
  • Must have strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Also, you must be a process-oriented self-starter.
