Job Description

Vitamin T has an EXCITING opportunity for a Sr. Graphic Designer in Grapevine, TX!

Only candidates local to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex will be considered.

This is a temporary position and will require the candidate to be onsite for 40 hours/week Monday-Friday.


  • Oversee our client's brand and voice in various other usages. 
  • Deliver timely and engaging promotional graphics forour client's, email marketing, social media, and offsite ads. 
  • Design monthly print ads, seasonal catalogs, promotional collateral, trade show booths, and everything in between. 
  • Collaborate with UX and marketing to develop strong visual themes for key product launches, seasonal gift centers and
  • site theming, and content landing pages. 
  • Maintain flexibility while managing concurrent quick-turn projects. 
  • Work with our client's complimentary brand team to build on-brand graphics. 
  • Oversee Associate Designer's daily work, provide resources, visual direction, and constructive feedback. 
  • Assist Creative leadership with the development and execution of creative strategy. 
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise to other graphic designers and creative team members. 
  • Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization; adhere consistently with all 
  • organizational policies related to our client's respectful workplace. 
  • Model team commitment by adhering to our client's team's expectations and guidelines; fulfilling team responsibilities; and

  • Emotional Intelligence — Leveraging high levels of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and 
  • relationship management, the capacity to manage behavior, navigate social complexities and make personal decisions 
  • to achieve positive results. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field from an accredited program preferred 
  • At least 6 years experience in graphic design; related experience in a multi-unit retail environment preferred 
  • Must be able to present a professional portfolio that includes examples of related work upon request 
  • Familiarity with our client's structure
  • Experience managing a brand across multiple platforms and media 
  • Self-starter, deadline-focused, flexible, easy-going personality 
  • Ability to collaborate, brainstorm, or work alone developing big picture ideas 
  • Manages direction and criticism well, and incorporates outside feedback into design 
  • Strong attention to detail and impeccable file organization. 
  • Proficiency in designing graphics optimized for web use. 
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign 
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs, especially Excel and Word; G Suite 
  • Bonus: 3D or motion graphics experience 
  • Intermediate to advanced illustration, typography, and photo retouching skills 
  • Experience giving constructive and timely feedback 
  • Proficient ability to translate complex design challenges into clear customer-friendly experiences 
  • Possess an advanced sense of concept development, layout composition, color theory, typography, and basic drawing 
  • skills 
  • Expert project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to 
  • meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities 
  • Working ability to remain effective under stress, and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and to the 
  • organization 
  • Advanced relationship-building skills, including the capacity to predict and manage behavior, build and leverage cross- 
  • functional partnerships within and outside of the organization, and leverage influential leadership 
  • Expert knowledge of Macintosh computers and the Mac OSX operating system 
  • Proficient knowledge of the print production process (print margins, bleeds, color types and formats, binding practices) 
  • Written/verbal communication and presentation skills using spoken English 
  • Possess the learning capacity to receive and apply cross-functional training; willingness to assist other functions and 
  • work groups as needed so the department achieves or exceeds its overall business objectives 
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease 
  • Consistently demonstrates a commitment to our client's policies and procedures, including but not limited to, 
  • attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest and ethical responsibilities
