A growing start-up is looking for a Junior Designer to join their team. You will be part of the in-house design team, reporting to the Head of Design, with
shared responsibility for our 2 products.
You will work closely with 2 other Product designers, Copywriters and the Development team that sit on-site. The whole office is about 35 people, and they all wear many hats. So, we're looking for a real keener here who is happy to pitch in where needed.
Your duties will include:
Provide design support to the Heads of Department and the rest of the design team across all aspects
of creative, from print to digital
Design and deliver goal-driven landing pages, e-mail marketing, training manuals, application forms and newsletter visuals as well as social
media and blog graphics.
Maintain and develop templates for company brand collateral
Originate design projects from concept through to final artwork whilst following brand guidelines
Collaborate with other designers, the content team, front-end and back-end developers, and business
stakeholders on various projects
Requirements for this role:
BA or similar qualification in Design or Creative Arts
Relevant work experience (minimum 1-2 years) in a similar role
Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
Meticulous eye for detail with strong typographic skills
Comfortable working across both digital and print
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Sketch/Invision Studio experience is a bonus
Being open to constructive criticism and feedback
The ability to work on more than one project at a time
The ability to work well under pressure
Conceptual thinking with an innovative approach to solving design problems confidently and
