Job Description

Our Anaheim based client is searching for a Director or VP of Marketing who can strategize, develop and execute a marketing plan as well as optimize digital assets including ecommerce website and marketing campaigns across all channels. This is a temp role to start, 40 hours a week onsite in Anaheim, that will go permanent for the right person. 

** Only looking for applicants with 5+ years in a director level role and experience in an Ecommerce/Retail environment

Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and execute highly effective, profitable integrated marketing strategies and plans that meet
  • Develop tactical plans that will help build brand awareness and meet and/or exceed company sales goals
  • Plan and execute all marketing, including  digital marketing campaigns, SEO/SEM, email and display advertising campaigns
  • Identify key campaign metrics and accurately measure ROI
  • Develop benchmark criteria to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs
  • Patner with our Social Media / Content Manager to design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Leverage analytics to let the data inform strategies and plans
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • 30% on research and strategy, 70% on development and execution of marketing plan

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years as a Marketing Director
  • Experience in eCommerce/retail space
  • Background in creating tactical marketing strategies and plans
  • Experience leading all digital marketing efforts (SEO/SEM, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns)
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools (ie. Google Analytics)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
