Job Description

Vitamin T is looking for a Freelance Visual Designer for a large Financial client in Downtown Chicago.  In this role, you will be responsible for the design and execution of creative concepts for leading edge Marketing and Web solutions. You will work on a team of Creatives, Developers, Information Architects, Copywriters and Content Strategists.  This will start with a freelance assignment, full time hours, working on-site in Downtown Chicago for 12 months. This role will support the Website Redesign project, with 30,000 web pages.  Experience with Big Brands, Financial Clients a huge plus.  


  • Working on page layouts, site grids, typography, iconography and colors
  • Demonstrates strong asset prep and prototyping experience using tools such as Sketch and InVision
  • Implements website accessibility standards
  • Has a strong knowledge of technology and user experience
  • Experienced in mobile app design and familiar with design systems such as Google Material Design and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
  • Designs solutions that meet or exceed the project’s stated objectives
  • Maintains high quality on creative deliverables
  • Assists creative lead in research and presentation materials


  • 3+ years design experience, preferably in a digital agency working with large global brands
  • Exceptional portfolio that includes strong system design thinking
  • Working knowledge of service and e-commerce design
  • Strong working knowledge of design and layout applications
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail is a must
  • Demonstrated strong skills in leading design software (Adobe Suite, InVision, Sketch)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (design, animation, user experience, etc.) required
