Job Description

Vitamin T has an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity for  a Digital Content Manager to join one of our clients in the Northern Suburbs. The ideal candidate will have experience developing content and strategy to improve the user experience across all digital platforms. The Digital Content Manager will produce captivating, engaging content for existing and new customers in the purchase pathway – driving more traffic to the site with greater SEO results, improving customer acquisition, and generating a higher conversion rate and revenue. 

The Digital Content Manager must possess a strong understanding of SEO best practices, User Experience, customer personas, and content authoring. He/she will collaborate with UX, IT, Marketing (analytics), Branding and business owners to better understand customers and prospects visiting our digital properties, in order to devise a user-centered content approach.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage content for all digital properties, while serving as a thought leader for effective content strategy 
  • Work with marketing and branding to develop customer personas and experiences 
  • Write clear and compelling promotional copy (and supervise small team of technical writers) for all digital platforms and uses (web/landing pages, banner ads, email, blogs, social, product descriptions, cross/upsell, etc.) across multiple categories (includes luxury) and customer types to generate brand awareness and preference, drive sales and entice acquisition. 
  • Create SEO-optimized and editorially relevant content using SEO principles that maximize content effectiveness and reach, that improves site navigation and search performance/results 


  • 5-10 years of experience writing e-commerce product copy with content strategy knowledge 
  • Strong understanding of digital content and strategy
  • An online portfolio of product copy samples – blogging/editorial a plus 
  • Experience and willingness to brainstorm and collaborate on new ideas and strategies 
  • Proven experience as a copywriter and content strategist 
  • Deep knowledge of e-commerce and SEO/content marketing best practices including competitive strategies, marketing, usability testing, and industry trends 
  • Excellent writing, researching, editing, proofreading, time-management and organizational skills 
  • B.A. in English or Digital Communications, or equivalent study
