Job Description

Vitamin T is assisting an advertising agency in their search for a temp Ad Ops Coordinator to join their team. This position would start part-time, 20 hours a week, with the potential to go full time next year. Open to remote candidates, do not have to be based in Chicago. 



  • 1-2 years of professional experience in an Ad Ops or similar role
  • Experience with Google Campaign Manager



  • Build knowledge and expertise in back-end system set-up, trafficking, tagging and QA:
  • Act as an internal resource for media team
  • Lead traditional and digital ad operations and trafficking
  • Trafficking out of new campaigns, including floodlight tag implementation
  • Ensure that all floodlight tags are firing (QA before launch), that the campaigns launch
  • on time and all data is coming in properly to DCM (QA the day of launch)
  • Help determine which pages on the site should be tagged to track metrics agreed upon
  • o Put together any floodlight & tag implementation guidelines for the client
  • Assist Media Associate in daily pacing, ongoing monitoring and optimization of campaign
  • performance within platforms (Doubleclick, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and with specific
  • media partners
  • Daily monitoring of all campaigns (paid social/display) to ensure that they are pacing towards
  • goal and determining any optimizations that could be made (i.e. rotating towards a specific
  • piece of creative, shifting investment into mobile, etc.)
  • Pull campaign performance data from multiple sources, combining data where necessary
  • Develop an understanding of data sources used for all clients, and begin to understand and speak
  • to the nuances and rationale for use
  • Troubleshoot known or suspected problems with the tagging/tracking technology used in
  • implemented projects
  • Reporting (In Collaboration with Analytics, Media Supervisor & Seamless team
  • members)
  • Lead process of data collection and creation of ongoing (monthly/quarterly) report presentations
  • with assistance of Analytics team
  • Mid-campaign reports to monitor performance of larger campaigns 
  • Paid social insight reports and paid social recommendation decks
  • Weekly/monthly data pulls (as needed by client)
  • Deliver optimization recommendations to Media Associate and Supervisor to ensure
  • campaign goals are met
