Job Description



Our client is a successful not-for profit organisation who are looking to recruit a Product Manager to join their team based in Berkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experience team manager to work across 3 diverse teams including Legacy Marketing campaigns, Legacy engagement and legacy Administration.

This is a key role which will work in collaboration with the Fundraising & Individual Giving team to ensure excellent legacy promotion and stewardship amongst existing donors and the wider public.



  • You will be monitoring income and expenditure targets for products, ensuring that timely and appropriate interventions (campaign changes) are made if needed in order to reach annual plan targets.

  • Monitor the annual plan of activity for each area under management, including all acquisition and retention activities,

  • Identifying, developing and innovating in the fundraising product area; and where indicated, develop and deliver new or complementary products to add to the portfolio to attract new audiences.

  • Manage relationships with external agencies and service providers as and when required.

  • Conduct quarterly meeting with suppliers as well as monitoring service level performances.

  • Monitor acquisition, cross-sell, reactivation and up-sell results across the specific product(s) being managed to drive supporter journeys for life-time value benefit across Fundraising & Individual Giving products.

  • Ensuring that digital marketing is being planned and executed.

  • Taking an active leadership role amongst the team and wider department.


You will have

  • You will have proven experience in Direct Marketing and a demonstrable track record in fundraising and or marketing handling a sizeable budget

  • Ability to successfully manage a team, a strong record of financial management and good analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and oral skills and knowledge of GDPR, Fundraising Regulator Codes, Charities Act, Legacy Administration and HMRC tax and gift aid legislation.

  • Knowledge of Data Protect Act, HMRC tax and gift aid legislation.


Good to Have;

  • Experience working in the not-for-profit sector eg: within Fundraising.  

  • Fundraising or Marketing diploma
