Job Description

The Group Account Supervisor (GAS) provides day-to-day strategic and tactical leadership on assigned accounts by managing and delivering projects in a timely, efficient, and professional manner while assuring client satisfaction across multiple accounts within assigned clients. The GAS is responsible for collaborating with TAG Partners, Senior Management, and support teams to ensure client programs are implemented with strategic insight and exceptional service. Project deliverables include: 
1) medical communications activities (e.g., KOL management, coordination of advisory boards, speaker trainings and peer-to-peer programs, in addition to digital and online initiatives and slide presentation development) 
2) promotional advertising deliverables (e.g., creative campaigns, patient and physician loyalty programs, sales materials, digital marketing and media planning). 

Essential responsibilities (include and are not limited to): 

" Assists in the execution of strategic and tactical planning process with client and internal team 
" Ensures strategic recommendations to client are in line with client's business goals 
" Identifies opportunities for organic growth to assigned clients 
" Assists and participates in new business presentations 
" Ensures all projects are strategically aligned with client/brand objectives 
" Pressure tests briefs against work in development 
" Responsible for cross-agency collaboration 
" Oversees Senior Account Executives and Account Supervisors, and provides coaching and support 
" Steps in to manage day-to-day tasks as needed 
" Initiates annual development plans for direct reports 

" Develops initial annual project plan 
" Reviews all estimates and staffing assignments 
" Works with Project Management (PM) Supervisor to develop internal monthly forecast reports 
" Responsible for providing clients with financial reconciliation reports 

" Consistently demonstrates awareness that clients enable us to thrive as a business 
" Looks for new opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction. 
" Assesses client needs and develops strategic and tactical recommendations. 
" Assists clients in creating business solutions and transforming strategies into tactical plans 
" Demonstrates capability of growing business within assigned client base and demonstrates efforts to grow existing business. 
" Consistently strives to do things better for clients. Develops various marketing programs within the pharmaceutical industry 
" Demonstrates industry knowledge to TAG MM staff and clients thorough knowledge of the health care industry, the medical marketing and communications fields, disease-specific issues, and clinical data that are of vital importance to both 

" Five to ten years of experience in a client facing role within a medical communications agency. 
" At least 4 years' experience in managing client services' staff 
" Pharmaceutical marketing experience is a plus 
" Bachelor's degree (life sciences or related major preferred) or equivalent experience
