Job Description

Our mission-based client is seeking a Digital Designer to help their Marketing Design team who loves working on a diverse set of projects and who desires to grow as they do. To be successful in this role, you need to be able to deliver creative collateral for digital campaigns at a high standard of quality that satisfies the specific requirements of the campaign but also maintains a consistent, global brand. The role is a contract position but could potentially lead to a more permanent role in our growing team of designers who are raising the bar for design.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and deliver digital artwork for ads (static, animated, and video), landing pages, email, etc.

  • Help execute marketing campaigns, from conception to completion with the team and stakeholders

  • Generate ideas that resonate with our customers from diverse countries and backgrounds

  • Review and provide feedback for other Designers’ work

  • Coordinate with vendors (such as photographers and agencies)

  • Help maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects

  • Keep the big picture and long-term in mind as you design

  • Design for and get to know our customers

 

REQUIREMENT:

  • A passion for people, communication, marketing, and storytelling

  • An understanding (or at least sensitivity) of various cultures and trends

  • A positive attitude

  • Demonstrate-able experience in marketing a consumer product/service — namely digital advertising and design, including animation and video

  • A highly developed instinct for branding

  • A problem with settling for less-than-great

  • An eagerness to learn, grow, adapt, and expand your skills (and to try new things); flexibility and openness to critique

  • Thick skin and grit — so you can take initiative, deliver, and succeed in a sometimes-crazy (but fun) work environment

  • Ability to work quickly and handle last minute requests and re-prioritize accordingly

  • An understanding of A/B testing and validation

  • Strong file organization and graphic production skills

  • Solid knowledge of modern design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Sketch, etc.)

  • Good judgement and taste to select from stock resources (photos, illustrations, and video)

  • The ability to work in Seattle, collaborate with our team, and meet deadlines
