Job Description

Vitamin T is looking for an Event Coordinator for a global client in downtown Chicago!  The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the company's overall corporate marketing and event management strategies. Assists with developing and implementing marketing campaigns; tracking data; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings, trade shows and events; maintaining databases; preparing reports. The Coordinator will support the event team in both domestic and international regions (between 500-1000 events annually)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all internal requests for branded and promotional product, and  coordinate development and implementation of incentive items for various departments

  • Assist with internal and external private functions/special events coordinated by the Global Brand Marketing team

  • Assist with content creation and content management on the website as well a coordinated social campaigns and digital banner placements promoting  global events and campaigns.

  • Perform various administrative functions in support of Corporate Marketing colleagues.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and web-based search. Adobe Photoshop a plus.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or related discipline, or at least 2 years event and/or conference planning and execution experience.

  • Strong project management, written and oral communications skills. Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with online event registration and management tools

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment with quickly shifting priorities
