Job Description

Our B2B PR/Marcomms client is growing fast and are looking for an exceptional leader with a passion for content to deliver stand-out strategy, sparkling creative thinking and superior standards to set their agency apart. 

They're looking for an award-winning content strategist to join their busy team, you will be keen to let your expertise, imagination make an impact in the industry. 

A key part of the role is having a deep understanding of the B2B and IT industries and the ability to quickly grasp new technologies and their context within the overall business environment. This covers everything from hardware (laptops, printers, etc.) to cloud-based platforms and IT services. 

Proactively, you will work with account teams to consult with clients on content strategy and principles and develop well-structured and compelling plans for client review. 

Existing content-focused clients and they are looking to continue our growth and will need you to support with new business planning, and agency marketing as well as other cross-discipline planning including media planning, marketing automation planning, etc.

Experience 
• Experience in a similar/senior content-related role within a technology B2B agency, media or publishing environment 
• A proven history in creating hard-hitting and impactful editorial content 
• Understanding of visual content and creative; understanding of the digital marketing intersections with content, for instance, SEO, paid media etc 
• Brand-level positioning experience, ability to create messaging and conversation maps 
• Experience working with multi-media content, ideally a keen watcher of new and emerging content marketing formats and techniques 
• Ability to work with buyer personas and content journey planning 
• Experience in running client workshops 

Skills 
• Exceptional copywriting skills, ability to edit, provide constructive feedback is essential 
• Ability to brief a team of multi-discipline specialists where content will be applied while also being a team player 
• Ambitious and enthusiastic with a strong desire to succeed 
• Confident with clients and understanding of good customer service 
• On-the-job coaching and development of the internal specialists 
• Strong multi-tasker
