Job Description

We are looking for a senior user experience designer with strong interests and expert capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must. 

This is a hands-on role focused on contributing to the processes of product discovery, design and development You will work closely with product managers and strategist to create quality, device-agnostic user experiences and interfaces. 

Role responsibilities include: 

• A User Experience Designer mandate is to advocate for the user while ensuring that the experience meets Marketing Goals in a consistent and/or appropriate way, regardless of the property being addressed. 

• Lead the project start to finish with the collaboration of creative director, stakeholder, and developer. 

• Deliver strong wireframe/ prototype to high-end UI well-optimized visual solution. 

• Use data and observation to understand our users and to develop insights into improvements for user experience and flow. Utilize A/B testing to present design solutions. 

• Researching and analyzing industry UX/UI trends and competitor sites and strategies. 

• To keep up to date with the latest web design technologies and techniques in order to discuss them for inclusion within our website creations. 

• Design for current experiences while also envisioning new ones. Working with our brand to generate new ideas and strong visual solution. 

• Understand the balance of user experience, business need, and time-to-market, and recommend tradeoffs where appropriate. 

• HTML and CSS. You don't need to be a web developer, but you'll need to talk and prototype designs to pass off to the tech team. 

• An outstanding portfolio that showcases your foundation in typography, visual design, interaction and mobile user experience. 

• Bachelor s degree and/or equivalent design exposure. 5+ years of experience.

• A great communicator. You re an expert written and verbal communicator, and you love working directly with teammates to implement your work.
