Job Description

Vitamin T in Chicago land is looking for a B2B Copywriter for one of our client's internal creative agency, to assist with their website relaunch. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding grammatical and creative judgement, will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and will have a proven track record of translating complex/technical information into compelling copy for a variety of business audiences. You will collaborate with the Creative Design Team and subject matter experts from across diverse businesses to devise creative concepts, and will deliver outstanding, high-quality writing for use in a variety of mediums. 

The goal is to translate the client's Content Marketing and Branding Strategies, and/or service/product information, into innovative and impressive promotional materials, collateral, video scripts, web copy and/or thought leadership content that effectively engages and educates targeted B2B audiences and drives demand. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain expertise on the client brand personality, style guide, and guidelines and consistently deliver “on brand” copy 
  • Adeptly interpret creative briefs and conduct spot research/review of source materials and/or interview subject matter experts as needed to support delivery of accurate, relevant copy 
  • Collaborate with our internal clients from various business divisions, corporate marketing and other functions 
  • Develop creative ideas and concepts, in partnership with the art director 
  • Present ideas to colleagues and clients 
  • Develop familiarity with clients' products and services, the target audience and their competitors' messaging 
  • Write clear, persuasive, error free, original copy 
  • Update web copy and digital media 
  • Proofread copy to check spelling and grammar 

 
Requirements:

  • The ability to write compelling, clear, error free copy for a variety of mediums with accurate spelling and grammar
