Job Description

The Director Demand Generation is a key member of the marketing leadership team, working closely with marketing team members, BDRs and the sales team to optimize qualified lead-to-opportunity-to-close conversion rates.


Set strategy through analysis of historical marketing data and collaboration with cross-functional teams
Determine the most appropriate mix of marketing programs to target existing and new prospects in key segments and verticals (i.e., webinars, events, SEM, SEO, content syndication, display, web, email, etc.)   
Work closely with our BDR team to create and manage full-cycle fully-informed campaigns linked to marketing and alternative lead sources to meet and exceed MQL and SQL goals
Validate the mix of demand generation tactics by testing new channels/tactics and scaling successful channels/tactics 
Develop creative multi-touch programs to drive prospects through a unique buyer’s journey 
Make recommendations and requests for content to test and leverage for optimized top and middle of the funnel lead conversion 
Improve strategy continuously by measuring performance and cost per acquisition, adjusting the channel mix and messages as necessary 
Lead, grow and develop a team of Demand Generation marketers to achieve key business metrics including leads, MQLs, SQLs and Revenue 
Forecast lead and budget plans that align to company quarterly bookings goals 
Work with sales to ensure a solid and productive feedback loop on opportunity development to meet quality vs quantity  
Communicate with marketing, executive staff, and sales management on an ongoing basis regarding new and nurtured lead performance results

BA/BS, MBA preferred 
7+ years in a marketing demand generation role at a B2B company focused on complex enterprise selling (as opposed to lower-priced software subscriptions)
Deep experience using marketing automation solutions and a full martech stack 
Extensive experience with Salesforce
Highly analytical with proven ability to adjust programs and approaches based on data 
Excellent communication and writing skills 
Proven track record of owning a pipeline and revenue number 
Execution oriented with a passion for fast paced environments 
Enjoys both the analytical and creative aspects of demand generation 
Collaborative team player who is excited to be part of a growing team
Global experience a plus – but not absolutely required
