Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Performance Marketing Lead (SEM: PPC/PLA) to manage paid search and analytics efforts for our client in the metro area. This candidate will be responsible for the implementation, management, optimization, and reporting of all digital campaigns across both paid search and analytics. This candidate must be a data-driven, optimization-focused digital marketer with a strong background in managing and optimizing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns. The right candidate must be well-versed in all Paid Search platforms: AdWords, Bing/Yahoo and be experienced with Shopping PLA advertising, advanced analytics: testing and tracking in order to make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • SEM:
    • Creation, management and ongoing optimization of paid search, remarketing, social and display campaigns. This includes and is not limited to AdWords, Bing/Yahoo, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Outbrain, and Taboola
    • Manage and optimize Google PLA (Product Listing Ads) / Google Shopping and Yahoo!/Bing Product Ads Accounts
    • Manage for a monthly SEM budget that exceeds $100K 
  • SEO:
    • Developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies 
    • Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes 
    • Conduct keyword research to guide content teams 
    • Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects 
  • Define, set and track KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint issues 
  • Keep abreast of PPC and SEM trends and conduct keyword research to guide content teams 
  • Develop & lead a successful A/B testing programs and review technical SEO issues to recommend fixes 


Qualifications and Skills 

  • AdWords, Bing/Yahoo, Other SEM Platforms. Certification Preferred
  • Google PLA, Bing/Yahoo PLA. Certification Preferred
  • Facebook Ads. Twitter Ads. Taboola/Outbrain. Certifications Preferred
  • Google Tag Manager experience 
  • Google Analytics experience
  • Bid Management & Reporting Tools experience
  • Multi-channel marketing, e-commerce, and or social media experience 
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments 
  • Microsoft Excel wizard experience
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition 
  • Strength in extracting concise and meaningful learnings from a vast number of data points
  • Programming knowledge: basic understanding is sufficient
