Job Description

Our client, a high-end men's retailer, is seeking a Social Media Specialist in a freelance capacity. This candidate will be responsible for crafting social media editorial calendars, executing social media campaigns, and the overall management and growth of all social media channels for the brand.

The ideal candidate will be a savvy social media professional who is highly collaborative, creative, detail oriented and a passionate about demonstrating the impact of social media efforts through analysis and reporting. They will be relentless in their drive to discover new ways to grow community and be innovative in the social media space, particularly around leveraging video content and influencers. The Social Media Specialist reports to and will work closely with the Director of Social and Digital Media.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage editorial calendar development for all social channels, including content curation and copywriting (channels include, but are not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Story, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube),
  • Participate in ideation and execution of KPI-driven social media campaigns
  • Partner with multiple internal and external partners to bring many facets of the brand’s social presence to life, including occasional live event coverage
  • Own reporting and analytics across channels, building and sometimes presenting reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Lead community management efforts across channels, collaborating closely with the social customer service team to create a positive experience for fans, followers and customers
  • Identify and develop relationships with influencers and lead strategic product sampling efforts
  • Act as a key administrator in the management of our social media management platform

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES

  • 2-4 years of experience managing large-scale social media communities at a brand, agency or start-up. Retail experience is a plus
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical work experience
  • REQUIRED: Experience working with Sprinklr enterprise social media management platform
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational and analytical skills, while being accommodating and adaptable to changing business needs and requests
  • Have a passion for social media and a proven ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
