Job Description

A nutritional client of ours is looking for a Marketing Manager with an entrepreneur mindset who has experience in dietary, nutritional, health product, consumer packaged goods, or the food and beverage industry. Must Haves  - 

  • 5+ years of experience in dietary, nutritional, health product, consumer packaged goods, or food & beverage industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing (Master's or equivalent experience) 
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing across multi-media platforms, especially web-based
  • Entrepreneurship mindset with strong leadership skill
  • Ability to work with team  / strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience building brand identity 
  • Experience labeling
  • 4+ years of experience in a management level role 
  • 4+ years of product development experience

Day to Day - 

  • Develop and articulate overall brand strategy
  • Research and develop strategic plans to overcome competitors
  • Ensure execution around brand strategies, positioning through all channels and messages 
  • Develop concepts that focus on current and future target markets
  • Create, develop and implement new marketing opportunities
  • Work with sales to develop merchandising and sales kits
  • Coordinate trade shows
  • Develop packaging for products including copy and re-design
  • Drive marketing initiatives including advertising, promotions, social media, websites and new products
  • Create multi-media advertising plan
  • Write engaging - meaningful press releases
  • Manage budget
  • Communicate marketing strategies and objectives
  • Communicate ROI of marketing functions
  • Coordinate all new product launches, consumer promos and co-marketing events
  • Contribute thoughtful ideas for product development
  • Develop new product testing, plans, forecasts and time lines
  • Design and manage tracking functions for all marketing initiatives including new and existing product lines
  • Monitor PR, packaging, and distribution
  • Provide marketing reports
  • Research market trends
