Job Description

Vitamin T is working with a major financial/insurance institution looking for support in their marketing department in both a project management and content perspective for a temp to perm opportunity.

This person must be a strong writer!  

· Creates website content, product brochures, flyers, sales emails and direct mailers 

· Assists marketing team members with online and social media content efforts 

· Provides tactical support to Sales and Marketing department as needed 

· Provides new and updated website and blog content; creating, maintaining and directing the blog editorial calendar and ensuring cohesiveness in content with social media calendar 

· Helps manage data analytic measurement, tracking and reporting, as required, for all aspects of broker/employer/online marketing through marketing creative project tool and web/social analytics 

Minimum requirements: 

· Ability to manage a project and maintain organization while working with multiple contributors, subject matter experts and approvers 

· Exceptional writing skills (AP style, preferred) with an emphasis on succinctly presenting complex concepts 

· Flexibility to adjust priorities based on shifting timelines; willingness to acknowledge inquiries and be responsive/proactive with current project requests and status 

· Comfort communicating marketing concepts, goals and strategic initiatives to internal stakeholders, with the ability to develop colleagues’ understanding of departmental interdependencies and processes 

· Proven experience working in a wide variety of media and formats including, but not limited to: 

o Digital – Website copywriting, blog writing, social media, email marketing, PowerPoint 

o Print – Direct mail, various print collateral, conference displays 

· Two to five years of marketing, communications and business experience in B2B or B2C at financial institutions, or relevant experience 

o Have or be able to quickly gain a thorough understanding of products and services offered 

· Interpersonal skills, including the ability to easily develop, build and maintain internal and external relationships 

· Strong oral communication skills/polished presentation skills, both in-person and via online methods 

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems 

· Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, or Communications preferred
