Job Description

UPDATE: Position is now open to Remote/Offsite candidates! 

We are assisting our client with the search for a lead digital marketing role to both come up with, implement and optimize multi-channel marketing and online sales funnel strategies. And to systemize/create (CRM) workflows for the marketing efforts and manage their execution by employees.

Marketing Automation: 

  • Conversion rate optimization of the sales funnels (both strategically coming up with the hypothesis, as well as technically implementing with software and analyzing the data)
  • Systemize and create multi-channel marketing workflows based on actions in those sales funnels
  • Set up and monitor tracking and reporting systems for those sales funnels workflows
  • Optimize and develop multi channel strategy to drive more existing customers into sales funnels (up-selling and re-marketing)
  • Understand and integrate CRM software into the sales funnels to then build out multi-channel marketing efforts based on the CRM database
  • Utilize email marketing as the main sales and customer interaction channel and set up/integrate email marketing workflows into the above CRM system

  • Hire and project manage designers and copywriters for various marketing needs (landing pages, inserts, listing updates such as modified/new images, etc.)
  • Enhance and develop branding and positioning of brands
  • Conversion rate optimization of Amazon listing pages
  • Set up marketing systems such as ordering and reverse engineering competitors products and funnels and manage the employees executing these (e.g. virtual assistants)

Additionally:

  • Work with product development team to analyze and reduce returns/refunds

3 main outcomes: 

  • Develop and implement retention marketing strategy to convert "Amazon customers" (experience with Amazon sales is not required but preferred) into loyal engaged customers, and extend their LTV as much as possible
  • Setup marketing automation/CRM systems and workflows to automate the retention (including segmentation etc., multi-channel marketing automation, etc.)
  • Develop performance management / KPI systems for the above for monitoring and managing

Required Qualifications and Experience:

This role requires both a technical skill set (i.e. set up marketing workflows [think Hubspot workflows], Email marketing tactics and best practices, conversion rate optimization tactics and best practices, etc.) and a general marketing skill set (i.e. branding, copywriting, design, etc.). Project management experience is preferred to manage the execution of the systems/workflows you create.
