Job Description

Our digital agency client in downtown Indianapolis is looking to add a Manager of Paid Search and PPC to their team.  The position will be onsite and is a temp to hire opportunity.  This person will play a critical role in driving client growth by being responsible for online traffic acquisition with search engine marketing (SEM) and Pay per Click (PPC) channels across multiple verticals. Candidates should be comfortable with data analysis and demonstrate a proven track record of problem solving. 


  • Manage overall paid search campaign strategy and implementation across a range of paid search suppliers. 
  • Continually leverage new tools and industry best practices to ensure peak performance 
  • Manage a small team and coordinate with internal teams 
  • Manage account structure, keyword expansion, ad copy analysis, bid strategy, etc 
  • Plan and implement SEM campaigns and other PPC accounts 
  • Monitor intraday performance, compile daily report, and provide in-depth analysis of the accounts and campaigns.
  • Develop and execute optimization plans and bidding strategies for better ROI  
  • Maximize click-through rate (CTR), keyword quality score, and conversion rate through best practice and continuous testing effort 
  • Launch, test, and optimize display campaigns through targeting improvements, frequency caps, creative testing, and bid optimization 
  • Assist with landing page optimization strategies and A/B testing to improve performance 


  • Experience in lead generation and online marketing
  • Undergraduate degree required, Masters degree is preferred 
  • 3 Years experience with Paid Search is a must 
  • Experience with large, complex search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns
  • Detailed knowledge of SEM strategies and tactics a MUST 
  • Experience and comfort independently leading SEM performance and strategy presentations 
  • Proven track record of successful SEM strategy and implementation. 
  • Proficient with SEM reporting and analytical tools. 
  • Strong ability to think independently and creatively to translate business requirements 
  • Strong comfort with number crunching and creative modeling
