Job Description

- Senior Project Manager provides day-to-day, comprehensive understanding and oversight of all creative deliverables for their assigned shows.

- S/he must be fully knowledgeable of all materials moving through the creative team in order to speak confidently with client(s) and internal teams.

- This candidate must be highly organized, efficient, detail-oriented, a big picture thinker (but still able to speak to the micro), able to retain large amounts of information, a master problem-solver and able to collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple teams in a fast-paced, pressured, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities:

- Act as primary liaison between the client and all internal/external creative teams

- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.


Projects include:

- TV, radio, digital, print, outdoor, direct response, etc.

-  Serve as key point person to facilitate creative direction and questions.

- Discuss execution with client & receive brief approval, communicate next steps to internal team, monitor and follow-up with all appropriate teams (including client) on project development

- Oversee set up of creative development timelines.

- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. Gain proper creative approvals with the client.

- Communicate scheduled deadlines and provide effective warning when delivery dates may be in jeopardy.

- Monitor and follow-up with all appropriate teams (including client) on project development

- Collaborate with client and internal teams on direct mail, image/music licensing, artwork development, photo and/or motion shoots, VO sessions, etc.

- Maintain up-to-date and organized deliverables list to be shared with the client on a daily basis

- Review and sign off on all production invoices

- Oversee a team of Project Managers to help brief & execute all creative deliverables from the show’s media plan

- Monitor and mentor team to keep morale high, troubleshoot internal team struggles and set a positive example as a team player

- Attend client meetings to speak to all things creative and debrief internal team accordingly Requirements:

- 4+ years in agency project management or advertising/marketing experience

- Keen understanding of advertising principles and creative process terminology

- True problem solver—able to anticipate roadblocks and offer solutions

- Highly detail-oriented while managing multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence

- Exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to interact with a range of personalities and establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization

- Ability to function well in a fast paced (sometimes chaotic) environment

- Familiarity with design applications

- Knowledge of the New York theater industry

- A team player—willing and able to jump in and get your hands dirty on any and all types of projects

- Late night, early morning and weekend work will be required at times
