Our client is a creative digital and marketing agency who looking for an experienced UX Design Researcher to join its expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, driven and friendly personality to join a team with Human Centred Design at its core.


You will bring your knowledge and experience to a multi-disciplinary team who collaborate closely to create innovative, usable and elegant products and services for some of Australia’s biggest household names.

Reporting to the Head of Experience Design, your responsibilities will be to:

·         Taking the lead and initiative on research projects, offering mentoring, coaching and guidance to others

·         Developing user personas, stories, empathy maps and flows for new and existing products and services

·         Conducting research using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods including surveys and interviews

·         Analysing and interpreting findings, communicating insights to the team in ways that will aid design (IA, lo-fidelity wireframes, customer journey maps etc.)

·         Adhering to current best practice standards and trends within the UX/CX space

·         Validating digital concepts and designs to ensure they meet customer needs

·         Using web analytics packages (e.g. GA & Hotjar) to gain user insight and drive improvements

·         Helping to design, manage and facilitate workshops

·         Developing and managing testing programs

·         Looking for new ways to streamline tasks using new and existing tools and methodologies


The Ideal candidate will have:

·         3+ years working in a research related role (ideally UX/CX)

·         A degree or equivalent in marketing or a human behaviour related field (Psychology, Social Science etc.)

·         A good understanding of the digital space and a keen interest in emerging technology

·         High-level knowledge and skills in research methods

·         Solid experience in usability testing

·         Experience with workshop facilitation and stakeholder management

·         Working knowledge of web analytics platforms

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         A desire to contribute towards strategy and though leadership for existing and new business

·         Proficiency in Sketch, Invision or similar wireframing and prototyping tools (beneficial but not essential)

·         You will be driven, and committed to developing your career the future direction for user research at Tribal

·         Positive attitude. Must be a nice person!
