The UX Copywriter is responsible for bringing our products to life through our brand voice, accompanied by thoughtful user experience and design. As an integral contributor to the Experience team, the ideal candidate will possess strong UX copywriting delivery and instincts, with the ability to oversee ideation, development, and execution. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced writer, specifically someone who has a passion and expertise in product storytelling, and building ux copy education. The ideal candidate has previous experience not just in the shopping experience of E-commerce but the post purchase stage of a consumer's experience, and writing for these experiences.
Role and Responsibilities:
Write copy for all UX experience and product communications.
Understand the positioning of each product, tool and service
Own copywriting for consumer-facing products while adhering to an authentic brand voice.
Work closely with product/ux owners to develop creative strategy, positioning, testing copy and more.
Write ux guides and build a library to influence future delivery.
Proofread all final assets.
Work with extended team members to build product messaging that extends beyond the store.
Provide a deep understanding of competitive landscape, trends and user needs to deliver exceptional product experiences.
Analyze metrics that demonstrate improvement in content quality (unique, user frequency/duration) and implement revisions to plan to achieve group goals.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an agency or in-house setting.
Experience writing for consumer facing products in multiple online settings (B2C).
Experience creating ux copy standards and best practices for web, e-commerce and mobile products.
BA/BS preferred in marketing, communications or related creative field.
Critical thinker and communicator who works well with cross-functional teams; can present copy best practices and defend messaging choices.
Proven ability to adapt writing to various consumer product categories.
Strong copyediting and proofreading skills.
Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple deliverables and meet aggressive deadlines.
Passion for live events, social media and general marketing trends.
Ability to work both independently and as a collaborator on a team.
