Job Description:

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to work within our client's Digital Marketing team, working on multiple brands across multiple digital channels. This position is responsible for curating, creating, and publishing relevant, contextual and personalized content via social media & email to attract, engage and retain specific segments. Candidates must possess strong attention to detail, creativity, project management, analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities: • Curate, create, and publish content across social media, email and SMS; measure overall content effectiveness by reporting success metrics • Manage and analyze all aspects of email, including creative, development, segmentation, testing, deployment and optimization; provide recommendations to improve the overall effectiveness • Responsible for developing and leveraging technical systems (data, templates, automations, processes) to drive efficiencies and enable the execution of product, promotional and triggered email campaigns • Continuously monitor, measure and report social media activities, trends, campaign results and insights to drive continuous improvement and reinvestment strategies • Influencer identification, outreach, list management and KPI measurement • Conceptualize and implement segment-specific campaigns; strategy, implementation, analysis, optimization, recommendations and reporting • Track digital marketing attribution and provide reporting on internal KPI’s on a weekly and monthly basis • Research and test new social media platforms for relevance • Execute trend analysis, monitoring and competitive benchmarking • Work with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, finance, IT) and external partners (agencies, vendors) Behavioral Characteristics: • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, including proficiency in copywriting, proofreading, critiquing, and instructing others • Entrepreneurial attitude • Ability to work both autonomously as well as within a team environment • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary teams • Project management excellence; attention to detail, keep commitments big and small • Some weekend and evening hours may be required; occasional travel required

Other Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience managing email and social media • Knowledge of industry guidelines and best practices • Understanding of HTML and CSS • Demonstrated ability to grow sales, increase conversion, and acquire new customers through digital marketing • Experience in quantifying marketing impact and campaign performance, including but not limited to ROI analyses • Strong analytical capacity • Strong knowledge of best practices for email creative, segmentation, automation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM regulations • Experience managing an email database and lists • Strong competency and experience with using social media, personally and professionally • Experience with key technology software (required): o Social media relationship and monitoring tools (Sprinklr, Percolate, Radian6 or similar) o Email service provider (ExactTarget, SilverPop, or similar) o Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver) • Demonstrated flexibility – adapts and welcomes a changing work environment while meeting company and department milestones • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be excited for change as the company grows • CPG experience is a plus • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, or communications required • Experience with the Scouting or a fundraising organization preferred, but not required
