Job Description

Our client is seeking a Manager, Digital Marketing – Web & Demand Generation to work within its Digital Marketing team. This position is responsible for managing the brand’s ecommerce websites, the digital tools and tactics that accompany them, as well as driving traffic via demand generation (paid media). Candidates must possess strong project management, analytical, and communication skills. Direct experience with ecommerce, fundraising, or CPG preferred.

Responsibilities:
 Help enhance and maintain the company’s digital marketing ecosystem (ecomm, CMS, analytics)
 Develop and implement initiatives to ensure that the website delivers the best experience for
our customers and consumers, and aligns with digital marketing strategies across all channels
 Manage website content and creative, which includes landing and lead-gen pages, via a CMS or
other tools
 Own the analytics strategy and execution for the web and digital campaigns, including setup,
data analysis, and reporting
 Help track digital marketing attribution from the registration and sales standpoints
 Design, develop, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests; document A/B test learnings
and share learnings
 Implement and execute a paid media strategy leveraging paid search, paid social, display, and
retargeting
 Manage the ecommerce website and pursuing opportunities to increase sales volumes, AOV,
and conversion rates while elevating our brand positioning and improving overall user
experience
 Provide reporting on internal KPI’s – identifying opportunities for growth and improving
efficiency
 Build, and run regular campaign-specific reporting (daily, weekly, monthly); analyze
performance data, make recommendations and deliver ad-hoc projects
 Execute trend analysis, monitoring and competitive benchmarking
 Work with internal stakeholders (marketing, operations, finance, IT) and external partners
(agencies, vendors) responsible for campaign execution

The ideal candidate will:
 Possess solid knowledge and skills with principles of applied marketing analytics, including
customer segmentation, A/B testing, conversion funnels, statistical targeting optimization
models
 Demonstrated ability to grow sales, increase conversions, and acquire new customers
 Strong drive for continuous improvement – creating efficiencies & processes, innovating,
maximizing growth, accelerating the rate of new customer acquisition and improving program
profitability
 Experience with paid media (required)
 Understanding of digital marketing best practices and the impact on sales (required)
 Strong analytical capacity (required)
 Proven experience of HTML and CSS (required)

 Google Analytics and AdWords Certified (preferred)
 Website design and front-end development (a plus)
 Experience with social media, SMS, and email (a plus)
 Proven project management skills – effective collaborator and consensus builder with a focus on
completing on time and on budget
 

Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
 5+ years of experience managing websites/ecomm, analytics, and
optimization/reporting/analytics tools, processes, and dashboards (i.e. intermediate to
advanced user of Google Analytics or comparable analytics tool)
 Experience in quantifying marketing impact and campaign performance, including but not
limited to ROI analyses
 Experience with content management systems (AEM, Drupal, Joomla or comparable CMS) and
web admin tools
 Experience implementing digital marketing strategies, tactics, and tools
 Retail, fundraising, or CPG experience preferred
 Excellent writing skills
