As a Digital Asset Manager, you will work closely with Marketing and Creative in developing and implementing digital asset management best practices to generate efficiencies and consistency with our client's assets and brand. This role will be responsible for building, managing and maintaining brand asset DAM, licensing new assets (including fonts, images, etc.) and assisting with the production of physical and printed goods. This is an exciting role that is a perfect opportunity for an experienced agency asset manager looking to go in-house. This is a contract position will be for 6 to 9 months, however, it may convert into a full time position.
An ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of production and have 5+ years of experience in-house or in an agency setting working in asset management and production.
Develop, manage, and maintain DAM (including software)
Collaborate with Brand, Creative, and Marketing to develop asset management processes and best practices.
Work with creative and marketing to identify, develop, and order physical and printed goods (including mechanicals and specs)
Licence, manage, and maintain asset library including images, fonts, etc.
Create workflows, standards for naming, tagging, and formatting new and existing assets.
Maintains DAM including up-to-date usage rights and trademarks
Works closely with international teams, various departments and vendors to gather assets for integration into the system, and perform ongoing maintenance.
Register internal and external users to the DAM system based on permissions.
Facilitates uploading of assets into the system and retrieval of existing assets.
Provide ongoing system training for various levels of users on how to upload, tag, view and download assets from the DAM system.
Create and support ideas and suggestions to improve the system and processes.
Desired Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Asset Management and Production
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, G Suite, Jira, and high level of technological literacy on both Windows and Mac platforms, as well as knowledge of video and image file formats.
Basic understanding of creative/design to enable efficient working relationship with creative partners
Knowledge in production/post production processes (including printed and physical goods)
