Job Description

Web Developer -Freelance -  2months Contract ​

One of our fab agency clients are looking for a Web Developer to help them out on a project for a 2 month contact. 

We are looking for a front end developer who can help assist in a 2 month project working with our main client to build a web based app to be piloted by Advisers of the UK’s biggest Financial Adviser network.

We are looking for someone who can help craft the front end, working closely with designers as part of B&C digital team which is acting as an extension of the Client’s internal team using Agile project management methods.

The role will require the developer to visit the Clients offices 1 day/week with the Digital Director.

We have already created a prototype which is now moving into the next phase with some changes in place to remove certain functions and add others.


  • Experience with working in Agile teams

  • Enjoy crafting the detail and appreciate good design

  • Use expertise to help plan time-lines

  • Can co-locate 1 day per week to their client in Swindon (Travel expenses will be covered)

Do you have any of the essential skills? 

  • Good understanding of web standards and accessibility

  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, Angular, JavaScript/JQuery and TS

  • Experience of integrating with REST API backends (WebAPI, JSON)

  • Making REST API requests using AJAX

  • Using TFVC version control (VSTS)

  • Comfortable using package managers (i.e. NPM, Nuget)

  • Comfortable using Visual Studio (ideally 2017)
